A women’s clothing store in Madison recently sustained damage after a driver suspected of driving while intoxicated crashed her vehicle into the establishment, a report from stated on April 13.

Information coming from the Madison Police states that on April 12, they arrested 64-year-old Alicia Wilson for crashing into the facade of “Uplift,” a store located along East Johnson Street. The accident happened at around 5:00 p.m. and thankfully, did not result in any injuries.

Uplift owner Lindsay Leno stated that she and several others had just finished decorating the store’s facade minutes before the accident happened. Lindsay’s husband and a lone customer who were inside the store when the accident occurred were not injured. An OWI charge was initially filed against Wilson and authorities booked her at the Dane County Jail.
