3 seriously hurt in Grand Rapids drunk driving accident

At least three people suffered serious injuries in Grand Rapids, Wisc., after they were involved in an accident caused by a drunk driver, a March 22 article on reported.

Reports said charges await Logan Steinhilber, 17, after police arrested him on suspicion of driving drunk and causing an accident on March 21. Information from the Grand Rapids police department states that the SUV being driven by Steinhilber in the eastbound lane of Wood County W crossed over into the opposite lane and struck an oncoming vehicle.

The two occupants of the other vehicle and a passenger of Steinhilber’s vehicle were airlifted to a nearby hospital due to serious injuries they sustained in the wreck. The identities of the injured people were withheld. As of reporting, Steinhilber has been discharged from custody after posting a $25,000 signature bond. The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted authorities in their accident investigation.
