Four people hurt in Wausau wreck

An article of the Wausau Daily Herald recently reported that four individuals were injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles that occurred on Second Avenue in Wausau on the morning of December 4.

Wausau authorities received reports of the accident at 11:18 in the morning. Lieutenant Michael Juedes said a vehicle that had just turned onto Second Ave. from Bridge Street swerved out of its lane in an effort to avoid a parked car and collided with an oncoming vehicle heading south.

All three occupants from the southbound vehicle sought medical attention due to injuries. A citation was later issued to the driver who caused the wreck for failure to make a proper right turn. The names of the people involved in the crash were not released.
