Man seriously injured in Sheboygan motorcycle crash

A man was recently hospitalized with serious injuries in Sheboygan after the motorcycle he was driving got involved in an accident, reported on September 21.

According to Sergeant Randy Haag, the motorcycle accident occurred on September 20 at the intersection of State Highway 28 and Interstate 43. Information revealed that at about 10:30 a.m. the motorcycle, driven by Andrew Zastrow, 27, overturned after hitting the brakes to avoid crashing into another vehicle. The vehicle driver, identified as Michael Cherwin, was given a citation for causing the accident. Authorities stated that the accident happened after Cherwin failed to yield for the motorcycle. Though Zastrow’s injuries were serious, those were believed to be non-life threatening.
