Milwaukee father badly hurt in hit-and-run accident

A Milwaukee father recently suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on West Orchard Street. The driver fled the scene of the accident.

Report said at about 9:45 p.m. on August 12, John Dobs Jr. was walking on Miller Park Way when he was hit by an SUV. The 40-year-old father of four was reportedly in coma after the accident, having suffered broken ribs and neck, according to his spouse Maria Medina. Based on a photo captured by a security camera, police are currently looking for a white SUV, possibly a GMC Envoy, suspected for the hit-and-run. The West Milwaukee Police is asking the public to coordinate with them for any information related to the accident.
