Boy recovering after pedestrian accident in Kenosha

A boy who was recently airlifted to a hospital in Milwaukee after he was struck by a vehicle in Kenosha is now recovering, according to the Kenosha News on June 22.

Reports indicate that Prince McDowell, 4, suffered a concussion on June 21 after he was struck by a pickup truck. Police stated that the child was walking in front of his grandmother’s house near 61st Street and 11th Avenue when the pedestrian accident happened. Prince was admitted into the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Prince’s grandmother Amanda told reporters that her grandson can now talk and do some normal activities like eating. Details regarding the pickup driver are still being withheld by Kenosha Police.
