Milwaukee alderman killed in motorcycle accident

A Milwaukee City alderman recently died after he became involved in a motorcycle accident in the southwest portion of the city, the Journal Sentinel reported on May 22.

The fatality was identified as Alderman Joseph Dudzik, 56, who reportedly died in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on May 21. According to reports, Dudzik may have been intoxicated as he headed westbound on W. Morgan Avenue on his motorcycle at around 11:25 p.m. His vehicle crashed into construction site barricades. Dudzik’s wife stated that her husband planned to attend a “bike night” after a meeting at Hamilton High School when the accident occurred. The alderman died of his injuries after being admitted to the hospital. According to Mayor Tom Barrett, Dudzik devoted his professional life from city employee to alderman to the people of Milwaukee City.

The thoughts and well wishes of the Stevens Point lawyers at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® go out to the Dudzik family during this difficult time.
