The driver involved in the head-on collision last year that killed three of his passengers was recently arrested by Shawano authorities, an April 12 report on Fox 11 stated.

According to Detective Chris Gamm, the department arrested 18-year-old Ryan Swadner on April 11. Swadner, who was driving a Ford Mustang, reportedly caused a head-on collision on October 21 on Highway 22. Swadner’s passengers Cody Borsche, 17, Tyler Welch, 18, and Paige Brunette, 15, all died in the collision. Swadner and the driver of the other vehicle were both treated for their injuries. Shawano authorities stated that Swadner was speeding when he lost control, crossed the center lane, and crashed into the oncoming vehicle. He is being held on referred charges of homicide by vehicle-use of controlled substance and second degree reckless homicide.
