Reckless driver sentenced to jail for deadly Barron County crash

The reckless driver responsible for the crash in Barron County in 2012 that left one person dead and another one injured was recently sentenced to jail, reported on May 1.

Reports said Wade Richey, 23, will be serving a jail term of 6 ½ years after he was found guilty for the death of 15-year-old Triston Sager. Triston was reportedly riding unsecured in the trunk of Richey’s SUV. Although allegedly aware that his brakes were in poor condition, Richey nevertheless drove at speeds over 90 mph. Another person in the vehicle was also injured in the incident.
