Matthew Cordle, man who confessed on YouTube, pleads guilty to DUI

The man who admitted to fatally hitting a man in a car accident due to drunk driving by uploading a short video on YouTube pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide on Wednesday, September 18.

Franklin County Judge Julie Lynch oversaw the case, after which 22-year-old Matthew Cordle will face sentencing between 2 and 8 ½ years imprisonment. Cordle also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence when he killed Vincent Canzani on Interstate 670 June 22.

After confessing to killing Canzani, Cordle ended his video by telling viewers not to drink and drive.
