Car accident occurs after car strikes ice on the road

A 34-year-old woman was killed as a result of a car accident that occurred on Dairyland Road after she struck ice and lost control of her car.

According to police officials, the woman struck another car after losing control of her own. The Ford Explorer that she skidded into was driven by a 23-year-old Manitowoc County man.

The 34-year-old Sheboygan County woman was killed in the crash and the 35-year-old passenger in her vehicle was seriously injured. The 23-year-old driver and a 6-year-old in his vehicle, both suffered non-life threatening injuries in the accident. The names of the victims in the crash have not been released at this time.
