Four injured in Hwy. 63 truck accident

Yesterday morning at around 4:30 A.M., a truck accident occurred in St. Croix County on Highway 63 just north of Baldwin.  A milk truck and 2011 Toyota Van collided in the southbound lanes of the highway and four people were injured.

St. Croix County Sheriff’s Department reports indicate that the truck was traveling in the southbound lanes of the highway when it crashed head-on into the van.  The van had been traveling in the highway’s northbound lanes.

The van’s driver, two passengers, and the truck driver were all treated for injuries.  The driver and front-seat passenger were both taken to Regions Medical Center and were listed as being in critical and serious conditions.  A third passenger, a 4-year old girl, was taken to Gillette Children’s Hospital for unspecified injuries.
