Wisconsin driver hit in Nebraska semi-truck accident

Earlier this month, a truck accident occurred in Lincoln, Nebraska involving a semi-truck and five other vehicles.  A Wisconsin man driving a semi-cab was struck in the accident.

A truck driver, believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol, was driving on Interstate 80 when his semi-truck rear-ended a pickup truck.  Both vehicles were pushed into a barrier in the middle of the roadway and a light pole was sent crashing into the eastbound lanes.

A Ford Explorer was unable to avoid hitting the light pole and ended up rolled over.  A passenger in the Ford was thrown from the vehicle and suffered critical injuries.  The Wisconsin driver, a van, and a passenger car also crashed as a result of the truck driver’s actions.
