Milwaukee man charged with 6th drunk driving offense

Friday, a Milwaukee man was arrested after being involved in a car accident and charged with his sixth drunk driving offense.  Wauwatosa police responded at the scene of the accident at Stickney and Wauwatosa Avenues at around 5:30 P.M.

According to the police report, when police arrived they saw 55-year old Glenn Golden’s vehicle had significant damage to the front end and the engine was smoking.  When police spoke with Golden, they say that he told them he did not remember being in an accident.

Witnesses to the accident say that Golden struck a car at the intersection that was waiting to turn.  The 33-year old driver of the car that Golden hit told officers that she suffered neck and back pain after the collision.

Golden was charged with his sixth drunk driving offense, hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license.
