Two killed in two-vehicle accident in Bayfield County

On Saturday, November 13, a tragic two-vehicle accident in Bayfield County left two people dead.  62-year old Paula J. Rouse and 70-year old Donald L. Farley were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, Rouse was traveling on Highway 2 near Mason, Wisconsin when she lost control of her vehicle.  Rouse’s Dodge Darango then proceeded to hit a Dodge Grand Caravan traveling eastbound and driven by Farley.

A passenger in Rouse’s vehicle, 32-year old Heather Kopnick, was taken to a Duluth hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Our utmost sympathies go out to Rouse and Farley’s families and friends.
