MN woman hits motorcyclists on her way to Wisconsin

Recently, a Minnesota woman suspected of driving under the influence hit a vehicle and two motorcyclists and continued driving on her way to Wisconsin.  54-year old Renae Gail Tollefson is being charged with criminal vehicular operation and leaving the scene of an accident she caused.

The accidents occurred on Highway 95 and I-94  in West Lake Township, Minnesota.  Police reports say that Tollefson was weaving her black Dodge Avenger between lanes on I-94 where she struck a vehicle.  She continued onto Highway 95 where she hit a motorcycle with two riders causing them to fall off and into the highway.  Tollefson continued on 95 into Wisconsin and witnesses reported that she at times crossed across lanes and into oncoming lanes of traffic.

Tollefson has admitted to drinking earlier in the day at the Minnesota state fair with her husband.
