Two people were injured as a result of a car and buggy accident that occurred in Monroe County.
According to officials in Sparta, Wisconsin, the accident occurred as the two separate buggies were traveling down the roadway and a 61-year-old man attempted to pass them both.
The second buggy in line made a turn in front of the car and the two vehicles collided. The buggy flipped to its side in the roadway as a result and the two people inside, ages 18 and 21, were injured. The two were transported to the hospital to be treated with non-life threatening injuries.

A 23-year-old man is in critical condition as a result of a car accident that occurred on Highway 57 on Saturday night.
A 39-year-old man was killed in the crash after his car crossed the center line and struck another car head-on. Officials have stated that alcohol and speed were not factors in the crash, and the cause is still under investigation.
The 23-year-old man was the passenger in the car that was struck and he survived the wreck, but was transported to the hospital by helicopter in order to be treated.

Two people were injured in a rollover accident that occurred on Wisconsin 67 in Dodge County at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday night.
According to officials, the 22-year-old driver of the car somehow lost control and went into a ditch on the side of the road. After entering the ditch, the car struck a concrete barrier and flew into the air before landing on its roof.
The 17-year-old passenger was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital by helicopter. The crash is still being investigated by police officials at this time.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is currently investigating a fatal semi-truck accident that occurred on Highway 20 just after 8:30 a.m.
The accident occurred as a 35-year-old man was traveling down Highway 20 and he struck the rear of a semi-trailer. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the semi-truck suffered non-life threatening injury.
The cause of the accident is still currently under investigation at this time. Officials have said that the crash investigation could take anywhere from one day to one week.

A Sheboygan man has been arrested for an OWI after a two-car accident occurred on Saturday.
According to police officials, the 54-year-old man rear-ended a Toyota Prius that was stopped at a stop sign on Moenning Road.
The driver of the Prius was transported to the hospital as a result of the accident and his injuries are said to be non-life threatening. Wisconsin State Patrol arrested the man for operating while intoxicated and they found that this was his fifth OWI offense.

A Grand Marsh man was injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred off of Kelly Road over the weekend.
According to police officials, the accident occurred when the man was test riding an off-road track motorcycle and he ran off the side of the road. This then caused his motorcycle to become airborne before striking an embankment.
The man was not wearing a helmet at the time and suffered life-threatening injuries as a result. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, the man was transported to Theda Clark Medical Center to be treated.

A 10-vehicle accident in Germantown left one person dead and six others injured.
According to Germantown police, the semi-truck accident occurred at the a truck driver crossed the center line of Highway 41/45 and struck a car head on. After the first collision, another semi-truck and eight other vehicles were involved. Two vehicles were trapped underneath the bed of the semitrailer as a result of the crash.
One person in a trapped vehicle was killed and another person was seriously injured. The victim in the second vehicle was able to be extricated and was transported to the hospital in serious condition. Five other people were injured in the accident, but their injuries were said to be non-life threatening.
Details of the accident are still being investigated at this time. The roadway was closed in both directions after the accident so that emergency crews could clear the scene.

A 75-year-old woman was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident that occurred at a Racine intersection.
The woman was struck by a 51-year-old man that was driving a pickup truck. The man said that he was unable to avoid striking the woman and police are investigating whether or not the woman was walking against the red light or not.
The woman was transported to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead. No citations have been given in the accident at this time while police continue their investigation.

A 66-year-old man was found unconscious on Wisconsin Highway 41 after a truck accident occurred.
According to Wisconsin State Highway Patrol, the man was traveling southbound on Highway 41 when his truck went off the side of the road and struck a highway fence. No other vehicles were involved and he was the sole occupant in the car.
Officials are still investigating the accident in order to determine whether or not the man was killed as a result of injuries sustained in the accident or a medical condition. The accident occurred before 1 p.m. and the man was pronounced dead upon his arrival at St. Agnes Hospital.
