Sports broadcaster involved in car accident

Milwaukee radio sports broadcaster Steve “The Homer” True was celebrating his 59th birthday on Wednesday, November 13 when he was involved in a two-vehicle car accident.

According to Milwaukee Police, the accident happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of west Fond du Lac and Hampton avenue. Reports said True’s car was struck by a vehicle at the intersection.

True was rushed to the Froedtert Hospital after sustaining a serious head injury from the crash. Following his hospitalization, authorities arrested the driver of the other car for intoxication.
