Two people were injured in a two-vehicle car accident in Boscobel Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials with the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, 44 year-old police officer Todd Stenner was traveling northbound on Elm Street in a squad car when the accident occurred. Police say a vehicle driven by 21 year-old Jordana Webwer, of La Crosse, turned east onto Kansas Street in front of Stenner. The two vehicles collided nearly head-on and were both totaled.

Stenner, who was on patrol at the time of the accident, and Webwer were both transported by ambulance to Boscobel Area Health Care with non-life-threatening head and neck injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
